Cytokine genes SNPs genotyping by PCR-SSP. Five cytokine genes SNPs including TNF-α promoter -308G>A, two TGF-β1 SNPs; codon 10 C>T and codon 25 G>C; three IL-10 promoter SNPs;-1082A>G, -819T>C, and -592A>C; and IL-6 promoter -174C>G and IFN-γ +874T>A were genotyped by PCR-SSP (described in methodology). The SNP bands were visualized by 3% agarose gel electrophoresis. IC: internal control used was human β-globin gene. DM: 100 bps DNA marker. The IC and primer dimer bands served as size markers. The band between the two size markers was the positive typing band. The lanes were marked alphabetically, and the corresponding cytokine SNP alleles are summarized in the tables (right-hand side). The figure represents a case genotyped in the present study
