No statistically significant association was found between drug response or drug resistance, and MDR1 C3435Tgenotype distribution among epilepsy cases with 66.7% of TT genotype was detected among cases with drug resistance. The Hardy–Weinberg equation shows a non-statistically significant difference from the gene distribution in the total population
