Givinostat induce higher expression of cardiac myogenic genes: Cardiac genes included Pitx2, ISl1, Nkx2.5, Hand1, GATA4, Tbx5, TnnT2, Myl7, MLC2v, Mef2c, Cdh4 and Lhx2 versus control. GIV increased upregulation of cardiac muscle genes (Real Time PCR-analysis) for cardiac iPSCs (hiPSC-CM) after 4 days.
