  1. M methylated, U unmethylated, CAD coronary artery disease, BMI body mass index, ABCA1 ATP-binding cassette transporters A1, ABCG1 ATP-binding cassette transporters G1, TG triglyceride, HDL-C high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, LDL-C low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, ApoA1 apolipoprotein A1, ApoB apolipoprotein B
  2. *OR and P value after adjustment for age, gender, smoking, and aspirin medication
  3. Continuous variables with normal and non-normal distribution are presented as meanā€‰Ā±ā€‰SD and median (IQR), respectively. Independent Student's t test was performed for normally distributed data and Mannā€“Whitney U test for non-normally distributed data. Categorical variables are described as number (percentage) using Chi-square test. To determine the relation of ABCA1/G1 methylation and clinical variables, each variable was separately entered in a univariate logistic regression model; then, the variables which had a pā€‰<ā€‰0.2 were selected and entered into a multiple regression model
